Siemen's Wind Turbines MidAmerican Energy's order of 448 wind turbines is the world’s largest order for onshore wind turbines. The order will equip five wind power projects, all of which are located in Iowa. The Des Moines-based power company’s request will provide a total of 1,050 megawatts of energy, enough power for 317,000 U.S. households. Kindness Comes Full Circle By Megan Baldridge (Manson, Iowa) – As a certified nursing assistant, 18-year-old Kalene Klaassen helps care for residents at Good Samaritan Society – Manson. But when she was a toddler, it was one of these residents who helped care for her. Kalene was diagnosed with cancer when she was a year old.
